China Financial Futures Exchange (hereinafter referred to as "CICC") is a corporate exchange that was established with the approval of the State Council and approved by the China Securities Regulatory Commission to specialize in the trading and settlement of financial derivatives such as financial futures and options. CICC was co-sponsored by Shanghai Futures Exchange, Zhengzhou Commodity Exchange, Dalian Commodity Exchange, Shanghai Stock Exchange and Shenzhen Stock Exchange, and was formally established in Shanghai on September 8, 2006. The establishment of CICC and the development of financial futures have important strategic significance for deepening the reform of the financial market, improving the financial market system, giving full play to the functions of the financial market, and adapting to the new normal of the economy.
