FSA is the Seychelles Non-Bank Financial Services Supervisory Authority, established under the Financial Services Administration Act 2013. FSA is responsible for Seychelles' financial license licensing, financial service supervision, the development of non-bank financial services, and the registration of international business companies, foundations, limited cooperative companies, and international trust institutions in Seychelles.

VFSC was established in December 1993 in accordance with Article 35 of the Vanuatu Financial Services Commission Act 1993. Prior to this, VFSC was only the official bankruptcy department of the Ministry of Finance and company registration information.
